The BET Awards show is the highlight of the summer. Black Twitter is on their phones with their TV’s on loud, all the snacks at their disposal, and ready to let the jokes fly. Every year has a slew of classic moments that stay in the Twittersphere forever. I get excited each year when it comes on to see what folks are wearing and the performances.

Your fave celebs came together last night to celebrate the achievements of Black culture within the last year and to have fun. There isn’t anything remotely serious about the awards show ever and it’s good vibes all around. Because it’s the beginning of summer (I think I heard it was over 100 degrees), temperatures are hot but that doesn’t mean folks can’t bring the heat (no pun intended…maybe). The best dressed at the 2018 BET Awards definitely bought the heat.
