Mayor Jane Castor to host 2nd annual Armature Works tree lighting ceremony
Armature Works’ 2nd annual Holiday Tree Lighting is set for November 30th from 6pm-8pm in the South Lawn. Over 5,000 people attended last year’s lighting event. Mayor Jane Castor helps start the season off by welcoming everyone and lighting the tree.
Holiday Tree Lighting starts with a few family-friendly activities like photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, live music, and Opera Tampa puts on an exclusive holiday performance. Seasonal drinks are available along with food from the vendors at the Heights Public Market. Please note any outside food, beverage, and coolers aren’t permitted.
WDUV 105.5 The Dove’s Ann Kelly introduces Mayor Jane Castor for the lighting ceremony at 7pm. The tree lighting is immediately followed by Opera Tampa’s holiday caroling performance.
“I’m excited to begin this holiday season by lighting the tree at Armature Works,” commented Mayor Jane Castor. “This is my most favorite time of year and I look forward to seeing so many people from the surrounding communities come together for this fantastic event.”
