Visit Tampa Bay releases new Tampa’s Table cookbook and food podcast

Savor Tampa’s culinary scene through Volume 2 of  Tampa’s Table: A Culinary Evolution by Visit Tampa Bay. This iteration builds on the success of the first edition and takes readers on a “delicious journey through the evolving flavors of the destination.”

The book features 52 local restaurants and a slew of unique recipes offering a diverse look at Tampa’s quickly evolving food scene.

“Tampa’s Table Volume 2 is a culinary voyage that goes beyond a traditional cookbook. It creatively displays the diverse flavors of Tampa Bay, inviting you to explore our rich history and vibrant culture through each recipe,” said President & CEO of Visit Tampa Bay Santiago C. Corrada. “This edition is a celebration of innovation, tradition, and the extraordinary chefs who continuously shape our unique culinary landscape. It also provides a platform for our local chefs to shine on a global stage, inviting the world to relish the exceptional culinary journey that is Tampa’s Table.”

Read and explore Tampa Bay’s food culture with engaging and thoughtful storytelling from local food experts and writers, who tell tales of dishes and chefs. Let’s not forget the significance of food creating connections and shared experiences for us all.

To complement the cookbook, Visit Tampa Bay launched its first food-focused podcast named “Tampa’s Table: A Culinary Journey”. The first season is hosted by VP of 1905 Family of Restaurants Jeff Houck. Each week, he’ll get all the stories and inspirations behind the culinary scene here. Guests on the podcast so far include Ferrell Alvarez from Proper House Group (Rooster & the Till, Gallito, Gordito’s, Nebraska Mini Mart), Bryce Bonsack from the Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant Rocca, and Roberto Torres from Blind Tiger Coffee Roasters.
