221 B.C. Kombucha celebrates nationwide launch, exclusive flavors

Over the last couple years, I’ve grown to enjoy a bottle of kombucha. If it’s on sale at the grocery store, I’m buying several bottles. I’ve even gotten my sister and mom to enjoy the fermented drink also. One of the brands I do like to drink is Sarasota, FL-based and woman-owned brand 221 B.C. Kombucha.

The brand recently announced they’re expanding to all Harris Teeter grocery stores as of June 19 with new flavors including Berry Hibiscus, Rosé Lemonade, Mango Dandelion, Passion Fruit Red Clover, and Lavender Moringa.

In a press release, the flavors are said to offer a “unique benefits to wellness, as they are brewed with medicinal herbs”.

“Joining forces with Harris Teeter allows us to bring our beloved kombucha to a wider audience while maintaining our core values of natural food, quality and sustainability,” stated Aneta Lundquist, founder of 221 B.C. Kombucha. “We believe that all people deserve real and healthy foods, and through this partnership, we’re thrilled to offer a range of kombucha flavors brewed with medicinal herbs, embodying the philosophy of ‘food as medicine’.”

You’d have to drive a bit as Harris Teeter has one location in Florida in Fernandina Beach.

“Through this exciting partnership, we look forward to making a larger impact together, benefiting our communities, the environment and the health of all,” Lundquist added.
