Bern’s Steak House and Haven debut food truck at Tampa Bay Sun games

Earlier this week, I did a pilates class at Armature Works and Robert and I noticed the stadium for the Tampa Bay Sun at Blake High School. I’d never seen it before so we were both surprised. Funny this is, later on that day we saw on IG Bern’s Steak House and Haven had a food truck out there serving up the soccer game attendees.

This is the first-ever food truck between Bern’s Steak House and its sister restaurant Haven. It made its debut over this month at Riverfront Stadium in Downtown Tampa, where women’s pro soccer team Tampa Bay Sun plays. The restaurants combine high-quality ingredients conveniently and are enhancing the Tampa Bay Sun games with unique tastes on classic dishes.

Tampa Bay Sun co-owner and President of Bern’s Steak House Company is hype to mesh his two passions together: fine dining and soccer.

“Bringing Bern’s and Haven to the Tampa Bay Sun games allows us to share our culinary excellence in a new and exciting way,” Laxer said. “We’re thrilled to offer fans memorable dining experiences on days spent enjoying the spirit of sportsmanship with friends and family.”

The food truck features several menu items:

Haven Snacks: Gouda Fritters with fenugreek ranch, Curry Chicken Salad with vindaloo tomato jam and toasted sesame crackers, and a Passion Fruit Guacamole paired with shrimp ceviche and crispy tostadas

Steak Sandwiches: the Classic with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheddar whiz; the Steak House with blue cheese, beef fat aioli, red wine glaze, and crispy onions; and the Forager with mushroom ketchup, fontina, mushroom chips, and arugula pesto.

Smash Burgers: the Bacon Cheddar with sous vide bacon, cheddar, comeback sauce, lettuce and tomato; and the Spicy Avocado with crispy paprika tortilla strips and pickled pepper aioli.

Harry Waugh Dessert Room’s Ice Cream Sandwiches: Bern’s renowned Macadamia Nut and Coconut Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwiches.
