Fresh Kitchen is one of my favorite “bowl” restaurants. Whenever I’m feeling “healthy” and need a reset after eating junk, it’s a place I’m choosing. Even my therapist loves Fresh Kitchen; there’s been a couple sessions where she’s eating a Fresh Kitchen bowl and I got her a gift card for her birthday to grab more bowls.

Founded in 2014 in Tampa, Fresh Kitchen has definitely become a local favorite for everyone. The menu is made from scratch and fresh to order with a range of seasoned rices and greens, freshly roasted vegetables, and hormone and antibiotic free grilled meats. All sauces and marinades are also made daily in-house.

Over the years, the fast-casual concept has expanded to multiple cities across Florida, including Sarasota, Central Florida, and South Florida. Next week, they’re opening their 16th (!!!!) location in the USF area with three days worth of events Nov. 2-5:

• Sunday, November 3 | 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. + 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Monday, November 4 | 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Guests can enjoy free bowls and live music from DJ Daniel as part of the celebration.

• Tuesday, November 5|11 a.m. to 9:35 p.m.
• The first 50 guests who purchase a bowl receive a ticket to spin the prize wheel for a chance to win free desserts, bowls, catering, FK swag, and entry into the grand prize drawing for 16 bowl cards in celebration of the 16th opening. To mark the Election Day opening, guests who present their ‘I Voted’ sticker will also receive 10% off their purchase. Additionally, the USF cheer squad will be on-site to greet guests from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Donations from their grand opening benefit Feed-A-Bull Pantry, which provides enrolled USF students with food, nutrition, education, and resources.
