Sparrow Rooftop at Moxy St. Petersburg hotel is now open as the first rooftop restaurant and lounge in the city’s EDGE District.

The 4,000 sq. ft. location represents the city’s artistic vibe with an indoor, marble-topped bar and outdoor patio area overlooking Central Ave. and the rest of St. Pete. The rooftop restaurant and lounge seats 250 people in green velvet booths.

“The Moxy St. Pete’s DNA is all about Central Avenue, the Edge District, and St. Petersburg—and Sparrow is a true reflection of what makes this area while also celebrating its bright future,” said Nicholas Pantuliano, partner, chief development officer, and chief operating officer, PTM Partners. “As the Edge District’s first true rooftop restaurant and lounge, Sparrow is a stunning space that will serve as the heart of the Edge District’s bustling nightlife.”

The bar invites everyone to explore a menu full of award-winning cocktails split into categories named “Cruise Control” for tropical drinks, “Adventurous” for the risk-takers, and “Group Format” for shareable, table side drinks. Local brews from Florida’s craft beer scene plus wines and bottle service are available too.

Sparrow Rooftop’s Asian-inspired menu shows off a rotation menu selection of plates made from seasonal ingredients including Bao Buns, which can be ordered with either mushroom, pork, or duck; Korean Fried Chicken Tenders, Thai Seared Snapper, Yellowtail Ceviche Tostada, and more. 

Sparrow Rooftop is located on the seventh floor of Moxy St. Pete, which is located at 1234 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg. The rooftop’s days and hours are 5:30 p.m.-midnight on Thursdays, 5:30 p.m.-2 a.m. Fridays-Saturdays.
