Haven celebrates 10th anniversary with exclusive dinner next month
South Tampa icon Haven celebrates its 10th anniversary with a ten-course dinner featuring fan-favorites and newer creations crafted by past and present Haven chefs.
The evening starts at 6 p.m. with a reception centered around the restaurant’s trademark ingredients. After that, guests can enjoy a dining experience that highlight Haven’s dedication to bold flavors and more. Some dishes includes the OG King Crab Dumplings with white truffle emulsion, Idiazabal Sweetbreads, Dry-Aged Beef Tenderloin with malbec chimichurri, and Sticky Toffee Pudding with burnt orange caramel.
“Reaching ten years is a testament to the passion of our team, the loyalty of our guests and the creative energy that continues to drive Haven forward,” said David Laxer, Owner and President of Bern’s Co.“This dinner is more than a celebration – it’s a tribute to the memories we’ve made, the culinary team who shaped our menu and the exciting future ahead.”
The anniversary dinner will also highlight the 2,500-bottle cellar and extensive whiskey collection. Each course is paired with wines or crafted cocktails made with a whiskey from the collection. Guests will have the chance to sample a limited release Rare Character Single Barrel Bourbon that was crafted for the occasion.
Anniversary festivities continue beyond the dinner with a selection of dishes available for a special price March 11-15. The special dishes include a Fried Brussels Sprouts Salad with ricotta salata and quince vinaigrette and the Coal Grilled Octopus with Hungarian peppers and Urfa pepper aioli.
Haven opened in 2015, building on the foundation of sister restaurant, Bern’s Steak House. Under the direction of Executive Chef Chad Johnson and Chef De Cuisine Gerry Sizemore, Haven blends classic techniques with bold, seasonal flavors and is known for inventive small plates, extensive beverage selection, and as a premier destination for wine lovers, whiskey enthusiasts, and adventurous diners.
The dinner is scheduled for Thursday, March 13. The anniversary dinner is priced at $275/person (sold in pairs for $550), with limited seating available. Reservations can be made through Eventbrite. Book ASAP; this exclusive event is expected to sell out.
