South Tampa’s Cali gets new redesign and revamped menu at all locations

Cali is entering its redesigned and revamped era.

On May 30, Cali’s South Tampa location reopens with a fresh redesign and all four locations (South Tampa, Tampa Palms, St. Pete, and Brandon) debut a new-and-improved menu, which build on the concept’s “Real Food Only” approach with dishes built around whole (and thoughtfully sourced) ingredients. The approach counties the commitment to fresh ingredients, antibiotic- and hormone-free chicken and grass-fed beef, responsibly caught seafood, and 100% olive oil in each dressing.

“We’ve grown with Tampa over the past two decades, and sensed it was the right time to fine-tune and refresh the Cali experience, from the food to the atmosphere,” said Cali Partner Matt Lanza. “We’re thrilled to introduce these changes and continue building a brand that not only serves delicious food in a high-vibe place, but also reflects the values we care about most.”

The reimagined space features textured plaster walls, a 11-foots olive tree, and basket lighting to create and “natural, lived-in feel”.

Menu additions bring bold flavors and choices including bowls, wraps, pizzas, and salads. Here’s what you can expect:

  • The Wild Shroom Pizza: mushrooms, manchego, mozzarella, confit garlic, thyme, parmesan with naturally fermented sourdough
  • The Supreme Pizza: pomodoro, mozzarella, pepperoni, peppers and onions, mushrooms, olives, basil, parmesan, Italian garlic oil crust with naturally fermented sourdough
  • The So Cal Bowl: chargrilled chicken, Mexi slaw, queso fresco, black beans, pico, coconut avocado rice, tomatillo salsa
  • New fresh, forward Salads: Lime Caesar, Citrus Grove, and Market Harvest
  • Snackables: Golden Hummus paired with a housemade puffed pita and crudités; Hand-Cut Herb Fries; fresh Tomatillo Salsa; and a Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookie, served oven fresh.

“This chapter is about continuing to grow and refine while staying true to the Cali spirit,” says Cali Executive Chef and President Primo Amicucci. “We’ve always focused on real food that’s full of flavor, and this update is about creating an experience that feels just as good as it tastes.”
