First Monday in May: The Best Dressed at the 2018 Met Gala
The Met Gala is often called “the Oscars for the fashion world”. Every year, hundreds of photographers line up on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to capture photos of celebs dressed for the occasion. This year’s theme, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”, delves into how much religion inspires some of our favorite fashion designers. Chaired every year by Vogue editor-in-chief and Condé Nast artistic director Anna Wintour, co-chairs for tonight’s event are Rihanna, Amal Clooney, and Donatella Versace.
The best dressed at the 2018 Met Gala never disappoint. It’s exciting to see how the attendees interpret the Met Gala theme and what they come up with.
