Where to Find Shenanigans on St. Patrick’s Day in Tampa Bay

St. Patrick’s Day is one of those days where all kinds of shenanigans ensue. Between the leprechauns and green beer, it’s sure to be a fun time.

I put a guide together to help you figure out where to find the shenanigans for St. Patrick’s Day in Tampa Bay:

Bar Crawl Nation A crawl through some of St. Petersburg’s popular bars. Purchase tickets online to save $10 off door price. Registration ends at 7 p.m. during the crawl. Email with any questions. Must be at least 21 years old to participate.$22.99. Sat. March 14. 4 p.m.-10 p.m. Various locations. 

Crawl With Us Round up a group of friends for what promoters are calling “the biggest St. Patrick’s Day party of the year.” A ticket includes food and drink specials, a $500 costume contest, and more. It starts at American Social, but organizers don’t even know what the other three stops are. Must be at least 21 years old to participate. $20. March 14. 4 p.m.-midnight. Various locations. 

City of Tampa’s River O’Green The all-ages, Irish-themed 2020 Mayor’s River O’Green Fest paints the Hillsborough River green. Enjoy plenty of live entertainment, food trucks, and games galore. Salvation Army of Tampa/Hillsborough County is collecting food donations. March 14. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. 600 N. Ashley Dr., Tampa. 813-274-8615.

Courigan’s Irish Pub No better way to celebrate the holiday than at this 15th Annual Block Party featuring live music, green beer, and plenty of other festivities. March 17- March 18. 10 a.m.-3 a.m. 1 Beach Dr. SE Suite 41, St. Petersburg. 727-551-9019.

Dog Bar St. Pete Can’t forget about our furry friends! The Shamrockin’ St. Pawtrick’s Day features green beer, Jell-O shots, and shenanigans. Food truck Maggie on the Move whips up classic Irish fare. A portrait of your pet—made by local artist Oley Art —will be raffled off with proceeds going to Animalluvr’s Dream Rescue. Downtown Crawlers Kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend with this 2nd Annual Shenanigan Brunch, Crawl and Party Bus. Tickets include a buffet at Park & Rec, several freebies, raffle and an entry in the “Best St. Patrick’s Day Outfit” contest. $20-$80. March 14. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Various locations.

Duffy’s Sports Grill Enjoy specials on Jameson and Guinness all weekend long alongside new drink: The “Lucky Duffy,” a concoction of Jameson Irish Whiskey and Bundaberg Ginger Beer with a splash of lemonade and Angostura bitters. Epicurean Hotel Turn St. Patrick’s Day into a date night situation with a culinary experience with chef Jeff Philbin. Learn how to make authentic Irish foods like Brown Butter Soda Bread or Vegetable Shepherd’s Pie. Each guest receives two drink tickets. $185 per couple. March 16. 7 p.m.-9 p.m. 1207 S.
