The Frugalista Life

Third Annual Heights Fall Festival at Armature Works is this weekend

Looking for some weekend plans? Armature Works hosts the 3rd Annual Heights Fall Festival this weekend. The 2-day, outdoor family event takes place at the Armature Works Pier and South Lawn from 10am-5pm each day. A food drive benefits Metropolitan Ministries food assistance program, a pumpkin patch, live music, and an 81Bay Brewery craft beer corner.

The festival will follow social distancing rules. Unfortunately, there won’t be activities involving any kind of touching, kiddie crafts are take-home, staff and vendors will be wearing masks, and the event is spread out over a larger area.

Metropolitan Ministries food assistance program fed over 35, 500 families last year and they need even more help this year. Attendees who donate 5 or more non-perishable items receive a voucher for a free 81Bay beer or a take-home Fall craft kit for kids from Tampa Metro YMCA.

Celebrate the kick-off of the season and help those less fortunate in Tampa Bay.
