This weekend, commemorate the day Texas slaves found out they were finally free. All over Tampa Bay from museums to hella weekend markets, celebrate this piece of Black History.

St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation Join the rangers at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve for a Juneteenth morning hike followed by a walk through the nature center to see displays featuring Black environmental leaders. 6/19 at 9 a.m-10:30 a.m. 1101 Country Club Way S., St. Petersburg, 727-893-7441.

St. Pete Pride Celebrate Juneteenth and learn more about the impact of Black and Brown culture on the LGBTQ+ community plus its roots in the evolution of Pride.
