Season 2 of Visit Tampa Bay’s “Tampa’s Table” podcast now playing

Visit Tampa Bay amps up the flavor with the launch of the second season of their podcast Tampa’s Table, a celebrated culinary storytelling series. Hosted by VP of Marketing for 1905 Family of Restaurants Jeff Houck, the show continue to place a spotlight on local tastemakers from chefs and brewers to farmers and innovators.

Last month, a video series by Visit Tampa Bay, in partnership with TECO, launched featuring local favorites Ulele, Mad Dogs, and Englishmen, and Ash. Each episode took viewers behind the scenes as chefs prepared signature dishes and share the benefits of cooking with gas.

FYI, Visit Tampa Bay is producing a series named Savoring Tampa Film Series, a short-form docuseries that captures the people, culture, and flavors shaping the area’s culinary identity. Each episode is between 10-15 minutes and reveals why Tampa Bay stands out amongst other foodie destinations.

“Tampa Bay’s culinary scene has evolved into one of the most exciting in the country, and these projects give visitors a front-row seat to that transformation,” said Santiago C. Corrada, President and CEO of Visit Tampa Bay. “Food is one of the most powerful ways to experience our destination—it creates community by connecting people, heritage, and creativity. Through these collaborations, we’re showcasing the passion, innovation, and artistry that make dining in Tampa Bay more than a meal—it’s an experience that tells the story of who we are.”

Another series VTB is working on is in collaboration with Rachel Covello of Covello Consulting. Titled “Plant to Palette to Plate”, the four-part video series follows seasonal ingredients from urban farms to artist studios to restaurant kitchens. Each episode has a “hero ingredient”, meeting the grower, watching an artist interpret the ingredient through art, and ends with a chef creating a signature dish with said ingredient. Find long-form videos on Visit Tampa Bay’s social channels, while short-form teasers and engagement through Covello’s platforms drive viewers to YouTube.

Visit Tampa Bay elevates the region’s reputation as a place where creativity thrives by blending food, art, culture, and community. Culinary fans can find Season 2 of Tampa’s Table and the TECO culinary series on Visit Tampa Bay’s YouTube Channel here.
