5 Headwrap Tutorials To Style Your Hair
We’ve all been there: our hair is on day 4 or 5 and not properly cooperating. You look at yourself in the mirror and wonder “What the hell am I going to do with this hair today?!” After looking like the Mr. Crab meme for a couple minutes, the lightbulb goes off: put a headwrap on it. I have several head wraps in my collection currently for those days. Now, I don’t wear mine when I don’t have anything to do with my hair; there are times when I wear a headwrap for a look.
I had a friend recently ask me how I do mine and where I buy my scarves from. This was her first time wearing one and it made me a bit nostalgic. I remember the first few times I wore headwraps(they weren’t the best looking). I sat and binge-watched so many headwrap tutorials until I had it down. Now, it’s nothing to slap a headwrap on and call it a day.
Binge on these tutorials and your headwraps will be poppin in no time:
1. Kilahmazing-4 Quick and Easy Headwrap/Turban Styles
This is one of the first videos I watched when I started wearing my headwraps and I reference it a lot when I need a new idea. Akilah’s YouTube channel is full of several headwrap tutorial videos. Stay inspired.
2. Ellarie-8 Easy Head Wrap Styles
Plenty of ideas in one video. If you’re up for the challenge, try creating the bow headwrap style. I dare you.
3. MahoganyCurls-Headwrap Tutorial and Updated Makeup Routine
For those days when you woke up with a regal vibe, do this tutorial. The icing on the cake is the gold earrings. To take it up a notch, wear a larger hoop.
4. LipstickNCurls-The Easiest Headwrap/Turban Tutorial
This is another video I reference. I bought larger scarves just so my headwrap is large and in charge.
5. AbbieCurls-4 Easy Head Wrap Styles
To round it all out, AbbieCurls gives 4 style to try. Does this make you want to go out and find a few ethnic print scarves too???
Now that you have all these tutorials to watch, which of them are you trying??
