Food Happenings in Tampa Bay This Month

I have an entire list of OG faves here in Tampa Bay so it’s always exciting to come across events and whatnot on the news feed or timelines. There isn’t a moment every day where I don’t click “interested” on some kind of festival, event, or special event in town.

Food happenings in Tampa Bay are easy to find when the area is becoming a foodie hotspot.

Datz Restaurant Group

Roux

New Orleans is one of my favorite cities in the world. The culture there is unlike anything I’ve ever seen and the food there is beyond spectacular.

Shrimp Boil

The New Orleans-style restaurant has a weekly shrimp boil every Tuesday from 5-8PM. The boil features pounds and pounds of shrimp, potatoes, andouille sausage, and corn for $18 per pound.

Hurricane Season

The Hurricane drink is super popular in the Crescent City. A tropical mix of passion fruit, orange juice, grenadine, dark/light rum, and Angostura Bitters, hurricane season lasts until November 30.

Dr. BBQ

St. Pete’s hotspot for barbecue debuted some new brunch offerings recently. Guests can now dine on a menu consisting of pulled pork Benedicts and blueberry French Toast. Brunch is every weekend from 10am-3pm.

Grimaldi’s

Tuesday Tastings

Your local Grimaldi’s offers up 50% off glasses, carafes, and bottles of wine(house wine excluded) and sangria.

There’s one month left to experience the Summer Selections menu. Get there as fast as you can to buss down on dishes like Barbecue Chicken Pizza, Strawberry Spinach Salad, or the Berry Ginger Fizz cocktail.

Stoking Social Hour

Guests can come everyday from 3:30-6pm and shake off their work day with $2 off draft beers, $3 off glasses of wine(excluding house wine), $3 off antipasto and bruschetta, and $15 off wine bottles.
