Italian Meditteranean concept Fork & Gallina opens in Hall on Franklin

The Hall on Franklin ushered in a new way of group eating in Tampa: the food hall. They’re convenient and offer a number of options in one location. The guys behind Fork & Hen, one of Hall on Franklin vendors, came out with a brand-new Italian/Meditteranean fusion concept named Fork & Gallina. It replaces the previous concept Sorrelina.

The menu at Fork & Gallina features twists on old favorites like Pink Stuffed Pasta Pillows, Squid Ink Tagliatelle, and homemade Sicilian pizzas. Everything from the sauce to the pasta is handmade, something chefs/co-owners Mark Traugutt and Alfonso consider the most important. Guests can expect seasonal fresh ingredients and revolving specials to keep things fun and interesting.

Expect to have an interactive dining experience at the Fork & Gallina countertop and front-row look to how meals are made. This lets both chefs talk to customers and see what they’re into…they may even make up a new dish right on the spot. Daily specials rotate to show off the latest fresh ingredients and leave everyone impressed and happy.

Being one of 7 partners at Hall on Franklin is a great fit for the Fork & Gallina team.

“I enjoy the fact that you can have so much variety in one location. It’s such a breath of fresh air at the Hall. The wonderful staff and owners have made our dream of becoming restauranteurs come true,” according to Chef Mark.
