PDQ releases new limited-time spicy menu items, milkshake today

Tampa Bay-based chicken restaurant PDQ (People Dedicated to Quality) released an updated menu featuring the new Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Nuggets, a signature sauce, and the Cap’n Crunch Berry shake. All these items are available now at all PDQ locations except Amalie Arena, PNC Arena, Raymond James Stadium, and Tampa International Airport.

A release says the hand-crafted chicken sandwich features “a crispy chicken breast and spicy seasoning topped with lettuce, dill pickles, and the new signature sauce on a buttered, toasted, and steamed bun”. The nuggets are buttermilk marinated with a spicy breading. Order the nuggets with the new signature sauce, a “zesty and bold creation” made from a horseradish base, smoked paprika, oregano, garlic, and black pepper.

In the mood for dessert or a quick snack? The Cap’n Crunch Berry shake is blended with all-natural vanilla ice cream, strawberries, blackberry puree and topped with whipped cream, more blackberry puree (yyyyyeeeeeesssss!!!!) and crushed Cap’n Crunch Oops All Berries cereal. Who needs a full milk and cereal breakfast when there’s a cereal-based milkshake? It’s technically the same.

”The spicy chicken craze has swept across the country and our guests have been asking for us to join in with these mouth-watering creations,” said Frank Rappa, PDQ Chief Marketing Officer. “We know there are some good spicy chicken sandwiches out there, but ours is Just Made, Better.”

PDQ is open for lunch and dinner daily. Guests can choose dine-in, take out, drive-thru, delivery, and catering. Find the full list of PDQ locations here.
