SoFlo-based grocery store Wild Fork opens second store in Tampa

South Florida-based grocery concept Wild Fork opens its second Tampa store, giving new customers a chance to shop their high-quality meats and seafood. With this being their second store in the 813rd and 28th overall, there are plans to expand throughout the U.S.

The Wild Fork Way, aka their formula for success, details the store’s value chain from farm to table. Every step is carefully maintained in the entire process to make sure food waste is reduced.

“With more than 700 products on offer, Wild Fork can deliver everything from weeknight dinner staples like chicken breasts and ground beef to special occasion dinner party ingredients like organic rack of lamb, 100% Japanese A5 Wagyu and Ahi Tuna Saku Block,” said CEO Joaquin Gonzalez Varela in a press release. “We’ve expanded our line of side dishes, and ready to eat meals as well as vegetables, breads, desserts, spices and sauces to go along with every meal. And our high-quality gift baskets and suggested bundles for holiday meals, special occasions and gifting has really taken off since we introduced them in 2020 along with our increased shipping capabilities.”

Customers can expect a “friendly butcher and personal chef” experience like recipes, cooking tips and more online.

Wild Fork opened its first brick and mortar store in Fort Lauderdale back in 2018. Since then, the brand has expanded across the U.S. with other locations in Texas, Chicago, southern California, and the Philadelphia/New Jersey area. More locations are expected to open later this month and in the future.

Can’t make it to the store or don’t have one close by? They also offer the option of having items delivered right to your door.
