Boulon Bakery now open at Water Street’s Boulon Brasserie

Inspired by traditional French patisseries, the newly-opened bakery at Boulon Brasserie serves a variety of pastries, breads, and sandwiches along with Drink Katy’s coffees and teas. Leading the charge is Summer Bailey, who oversees all the dessert operations for Next Level Brands.

“There are so many sweet and savory options to give guests a morning pick me up or to carry them into their afternoon,” says Bailey. “The menu is focused and delicious, but confess that I’m slightly partial to the Blueberry Corn Muffin and Tomato Mozzarella and Basil Baguette.”

Besides the bakery, Bailey will also be in charge of the pastries at the upcoming Union American Kitchen property. Her treats have been featured in Vogue, Real Simple, and Food & Wine Magazine.

“Stop in for coffee, tea, pastries, sandwiches, and more (like a cute pup cup),” said a recent IG post.

Boulon Bakery’s menu option include a selection of baked-fresh daily loaves, Madeleines, a rotating cookie option, Blueberry Corn Muffin and a Coconut Macaroon on the pastry side and a Berry and Granola Parfait. Pair your morning coffee with one of their four hand-rolled croissants in flavors like butter, chocolate, ham & brie, and Bacon, Egg, & Gruyere. Sandwich options include Ham & Butter (jambon beurre); Tomato, Mozzarella, and Basil, and the Impossible Sausage, Egg White, and Cheddar English Muffin.

The menu ranges between $3-7.

Customers can look forward to future offerings including house-made dog treats, house-made jams, gluten-free treats, and vegan items.

Boulon Bakery is located inside Boulon Brasserie at 1001 Water St. The bakery is open Tuesday-Sunday 7 a.m.-3 p.m. and will open on Mondays starting April 10.
