Soseki Modern Omakase begins Saturday lunch menu this weekend

Michelin-starred modern omakase restaurant Soseki launches their Saturday hirugohan (the Japanese word for “lunch”) menu this weekend.

“We are excited to introduce our new lunch services starting on Saturdays!,” said a recent Instagram post.

Clearly this is something their audience has been waiting for because the comments are chock full of people displaying how excited they are.

The lunch menu features a short 6-course tasting menu for $85 per person.. Guests can enjoy seasonal Japanese foods plus some extras and sides:

  • Seasonal Kombucha yaupon holly, cucumber, coconut
  • Royal Red Shrimp with rocoto and purple majesty potato
  • Chawanmushi with Le Koopé egg, english pea, mushroom xo
  • Daily Bread with butter and jam
  • Wreckfish with curry leaf, pickled okra
  • Dashi with bone broth and scallion
  • Summer Fruits watermelon, strawberry, figs, sake lee
  • Okasu (Sides): Murasaki Potato with radish, turnip, corn and Cucumber with gochugaru, scallion, sesame
  • Supplements: Petrossian Caviar and Sake Flight
