Beacon Rooftop Lounge now open at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street
Located on the 27th floor of the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street, Beacon Rooftop Lounge, Tampa’s newest rooftop lounge and cocktail spot is now open.
An Instagram reel from yesterday highlighted the special occasion.
“The moment you’ve all been waiting for has arrived! Beacon Rooftop Lounge will officially be open to the public starting Friday, October 6th.,” said the post’s caption.
Beacon’s vibe was inspired by the natural beauty of Florida and the state’s tradition of having the perfect location for an escape from the world. The lounge’s colors capture Tampa’s flavors plus the beaches, coral reefs, and iconic sunsets.
“During the early planning stages for our hotel, we set out to accomplish something extraordinary in Tampa,” said Ron McAnaugh, General Manager at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street. “With the opening of Beacon, we feel we’ve achieved that goal and more. We have not only introduced luxury to Tampa but have also raised the bar on hospitality, elevating our offerings and providing our guests an exquisite array of dining experiences that cater to every palate.”
If you recall in a previous blog post of mine, the extensive menu includes dishes like house-baked tartness topped with crème fraiche, caviar, and smoked salmon; or the artisanal charcuterie prepared in the exposition kitchen. A previous press release says guests will enjoy “an array of well-curated offerings, featuring seasonal flavors and local ingredients.” Beacon’s dishes and craft cocktails are all thanks to Sous Chef Roy Bryant and an award-winning mixology team. Look out for the sure-to-be guest favorite cocktails like the Zalamero, created with Don Fulano Reposado Tequila and Galliano Espresso liqueur and The Rising Sun, which features sesame and yuzu plus Roku Japanese Gin and pineapple.
