A Taste of Rock N’ Roll Sushi #hosted

Listen y’all…manfestation is real and the tongue is super powerful. Earlier this year I was telling Robert I wanted to try more Asian foods this year and so far it’s happened several times. The newest restaurant I can add to my list is Rock N’ Roll Sushi.

I didn’t realize it but there are two locations in the area: one in Lithia and the other in Apollo Beach. I had a hosting recently and I invited my friend Chelsea with me since she lives in Apollo Beach. She’s been before so she gave me a little scoop on some items she’s ordered previously. I always have a phenomenal time hanging with Chelsea. We laugh hysterically and we’re constantly sending each other restaurants on Instagram like “we gotta go here”; we’ve gotten better with actual going to places.

The Rock N’ Roll Sushi in Apollo Beach is a 30-minute drive from my house; not too bad. I’m getting a bit more comfortable with having to drive outside of Tampa for food. I figured if I’m going to be a “proper” Tampa foodie influencer/content creator, I need to venture out to places that aren’t within a 15-minute drive from my house.

So anywho, overall I enjoyed myself. The owners came over a few times during the hosting to make sure we were good. I ordered the Eel Roll, Sweet Mango O’ Mine Roll and the Creamy Tonkotsu Ramen. I’d been having a small craving for ramen for some time so you already know sometimes you just have to give in to the cravings so you don’t lose your mind. I ended the visit with their Hall of Fame Brownies after I saw Chelsea order it first (you know I couldn’t leave without some kind of sweet).

Fortunately for us here in Tampa, there are two locations in the area:
