A Night Out at Corazon by Baires #hosted
It’s not too often I get a chance to try out a new restaurant in Orlando whenever I go home; usually, I’m in and out of the city quickly so there isn’t a lot of time. I’ve started a folder on Instagram of all the Orlando spots I see that I want to try the next time I’m home. For example, Corazon over on International Drive. I was kicking myself for months because I wasn’t able to make their grand opening. Even Robert showed me their Instagram once and I told him the next time I got the opportunity to visit, I was taking it. I got the opportunity I waited for to have a hosting at Corazon and I was so excited to finally go while I was visiting.
Robert and I visited Corazon last month while we were in town for my mom’s birthday. Our dining credit was more than what we expected. It was Robert’s idea to invite my sister Terralyn to come along with us to eat some good food since was in Orlando too. At this point, I’ve been able to have my parents and my sister experience the VIP foodie influencer life. Immediately when you walk in, you notice the vibes. It’s dimly lit with mood lighting and various art works on the walls. Our server Paola explained the entire menu to us and we got to ordering. Our appetizer of choice was the hamachi crudo and it was so good and fresh. That was followed by the most iconic appetizer, a bread tray.
We each ordered a different entre. I ordered the Sea Bass and Rose Risotto, Terralyn ordered the Salmon A La Plancha, and Robert ordered the Pollo Panka. My sea bass and risotto were so good. I need more of it in my life. It was fun to hang out with my sister for a change. She lives in Houston so I don’t get to see her in-person as much as I used to but we did a lot of hysterical laughing over nothing. Once our meals digested for a bit, it was time for dessert per usual. A few moments later, we each got to enjoy a show from Robert’s desserts called The Fosters. I got a decadent slice of chocolate cake, and my sister ordered churros, which came with chocolate and dulce de leche sauce. I ended up saving half of my chocolate cake for later and ate a couple of my sister’s churros. That’s just what big sisters do.
I say all that to say this: overall, it was a great night. Corazon is a vibe everyone should check out when visiting Orlando. We got to eat good food, drink some delicious cocktails, and enjoy dessert. I was shocked we came under our credit but I’m even more glad we did. We enjoyed ourselves a lot and I went to sleep a full and satisfied woman.
