Epicurean Hotel’s Élevage to host Hurricane Dorian Relief Dinners

Hurricane Dorian ravaged parts of the Caribbean earlier this month and relief efforts are still underway at a lot of places. Epicurean Hotel’s Élevage extends its hand to help out those affected by the storm with a 2-night dinner event.

The event is a curated dinner and includes 4-courses of prix fixe Bahamian-themed foods to honor the islands. Dinner is $50/person. All the foods included in the dinner are donated by Sysco and Mr. Greens. Proceeds go to the Red Cross.

The dinners are tonight and tomorrow evening from 5pm-10pm. Complimentary valet parking is provided until 7pm. Call 813-999-8726 or visit the OpenTable site to make a reservation.

The courses are:

1st Course – Choice of Conch Ceviche or She Crab Soup

2nd Course – Choice of Cracked Conch & Shrimp or Shrimp & Grits

3rd Course – Choice of Curried Rock Lobster or Bruce’s Fried Chicken

4th Course – Choice of Pineapple & Cardamom or Peaches & Cream

“We wanted to showcase the tastes of the Bahamas while giving our local community an opportunity to help our island neighbors in this time of need,” said Kevin Scott, general manager of the Epicurean Hotel.
