H+H Bagels opens first Orlando location this week

Iconic NYC bagel brand H+H Bagels announced recently they’re opening their first location in the Orlando-area, specifically in Altamonte Springs, later this week. Several other franchises have opened across the US and Florida with stores in Tampa, West Palm Beach, Miami, Boca Raton and Jacksonville.

“The excitement from the Orlando and Altamonte Springs community is already palpable, based on Instagram comments and emails we’ve received,” said Jay Rushin, CEO of H&H Bagels. “We can’t wait to open the doors and join another Florida community after the warm welcomes we’ve received in Boca, Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami, and West Palm.”

On the menu are the same beloved NYC classics including the including the Classic Bacon, Egg, and Cheese and the Nova Salmon with “The Works.” Classic spread sandwiches are available, including a few cream cheese flavors, such as scallion, Spicy Scallion, Veggie and Strawberry. Guests can expect the classic bagel options like plain, Everything, Sesame, Cinnamon Raisin, Jalapeño Cheddar, Whole Wheat, Egg, Blueberry and more. Speciality sandwiches including the Southwest Turkey made with bacon, avocado, pepper jack, and southwest sauce, as well as The Gardener which includes veggie cream cheese, avocado, tomato & cucumber are also on the menu.

If you’re dealing with large gatherings, H+H Bagels’s catering boxes package a variety of bagels with toppings and spreads. Boxes of pre-made sandwiches for parties of 10 or more are available to order lunch.

The Altamonte Springs franchise is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Declan and Urvashi Walsh. The couple relocated to Central Florida to be closer to family after 2 decades in New York. They are excited to introduce authentic New York bagels to the area and this is their first location, with plans to expand across Central Florida.

The Altamonte Springs location opens Thursday, May 14. The first 250 customers will receive tote bags with H+H gift cards up to $100 on opening day. It’ll be open daily 6 a.m.-3 p.m. For more info, visit their website and follow them on Instagram and TikTok.
