“Liberty & Legacy: An All-American Dinner Series” launches in Tampa next week at the Epicurean Hotel

Mainsail Lodging & Development, Sub-Zero Group Southeast and Sub-Zero Group Florida announced the launch of four-city culinary collaboration Liberty & Legacy: An All-American Dinner Series, which honors 250 years of American service while expanding career opportunities for veterans and military spouses. The series will be hosted at four Mainsail properties: Epicurean Hotel, Tampa, Florida (May 23); Luminary Hotel & Co., Fort Myers, Florida (May 30); Epicurean Atlanta, Georgia (June 6); and Trilith Guesthouse, Fayetteville, Georgia (June 13).

Each event features a multi-course menu created by the host hotel’s executive chef alongside Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove corporate chefs. The dinners occur in the property’s culinary theater, with additional support from industry partners. Each guest will receive a Kai Personal Folding Steak Knife as a keepsake from the evening.

Proceeds from the series benefit national nonprofit organization Hire Heroes USA, which empowers U.S. service members, veterans, and military spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce at no cost.

“As we commemorate 250 years of freedom, we celebrate the fearless service that has shaped our nation’s history,” said Ross Dickman, CEO of Hire Heroes USA. “Hire Heroes USA plays a vital role in that legacy by ensuring veterans and military spouses successfully translate their skills and leadership into impactful civilian careers. We are proud to stand alongside partners like Mainsail and Sub-Zero who honor service not only through celebration, but through tangible support that strengthens families, businesses, and communities.”

Since its founding over two decades ago, Hire Heroes USA has supported more than 115,000 clients in securing employment. The organization has generated more than $970 million in economic impact.

“Veterans understand service at its highest level,” said Joe Collier, President and Founder of Mainsail Lodging & Development. “Hospitality runs on many of the same principles – accountability, teamwork, and commitment to others. This series allows us to open doors for veterans and military spouses while strengthening the industry we believe in.”

Each dinner is expected to host between 40-60 guests and incorporates storytelling moments spotlighting veteran journeys and workforce transition success stories.

The ticketed dinners will be open to the public, with tickets priced at $250 per person. You can purchase tickets and view full programming here.
